What does boost mean mountain bike?
A new Mtb hub arrived on the market over the last few years. Its name is Boost, a dropout standard designed to widen the hubs on wheels, increasing the rear axle by 6mm and the front axle by 10mm without compromising modern trail geometry or durability.
What is the difference between boost and non boost wheels?

New rims, especially going wider makes far more difference than boost ever will. Boost however is 3mm more room for the cassette, makes a big difference when going wider tires.
