Does Lookout Mountain cost money?
No, the park itself is free. You can drive up the mountain. It is the Lookout Mountain railway that charges, as does Rock City, but the battlefield and museum/gift shops there are open to the public at no cost.
Can you drive to Lookout Mountain?
You will need to drive to Rock City to reach the observation point, which is three miles down East Brow Road. Seeing Seven States is a treat, but being on top of Lookout Mountain, there is always more to explore.
